Going along with his recommendations, here are the mods I ultimately went with: Every question I threw at him he answered and helped me understand more clearly! I was already a "somewhat" competent Smash player before, however I thought I could play more efficiently if I had the BEST possible controller I could get my hands on.īut because of how little I knew about modded controllers, I was very confused about the options available, so I had A LOT of questions to ask about what each mod does and the benefits they come with.
I first heard about Multishine through Youtuber Berleezy's review video on them (great content creator btw!), so I became interested in buying one of Multishine's controllers for myself to use primarily for Smash Ultimate. Yes, you heard right! This is coming from a FIRST-TIME buyer of Multishine's controllers! This has been my personal experience with them: This is a great product if you’re seriously invested in Smash, but if not, it may not a worthwhile investment for you. This took me a few days and more hours, but the result was worth it. However, note that you will have to take apart your controller (look it up beforehand) if you want coloured stick buttons, and the coloured Z button won’t fit. The ice blue buttons, while wearing out over time, are gorgeous with the black shell. It’s also so beautiful, just look at this thing. Instead, just get the control stick notches and angle it from there, it’s worked for me. Side note: C-stick notches wouldn’t actually be of much use, because of how the inputs are read. It feels much more responsive too, going back to a standard gc controller, it felt clunky and slow. I’m a competitive Smash player, and it’s made it significantly more consistent to perform some advanced tech my character (Young Link) utilizes such as wavebounces, dash attack cancels, RARs and iRARs, etc. White colored buttons (these are only for looks) This is my build if anyone is stuck looking for mods for their build: I am currently maining wolf and pikachu and the sweet spot notches are so worth it. I know this controller will help with wifi tournaments and spammy characters. I have only used it for 4 days now but I immediately noticed my movement game has increased significantly. This controller has changed my game drastically.

I spend a lot of time on smash so I figured why not upgrade to a beast mode controller. I have been playing smash since 64 and even competed in Melee tournaments.

A Snapback Capacitor mod eliminates the snapback.
